Jabsco Siphon Breaker Query

hi,

on the Jabsco siphon breaker should the threaded, ported nut at the top that houses the poppet be screwed all the way down or should it be backed off a certain amount.

thanks

Re: jabsco siphon breaker query

found the answer on youtube: nut should be all the way down and but only finger tight (the valve has a "duckbill" action not a "poppet" type action
