Jabsco Water Pump Problem

We have a weird problem with our Jabsco 4305 quad water pumps…when they are installed vertically with the pump heads down, they don’t shut down even after the system is pressurized. One of them is new and still has this problem. When they are laid down horizontally, they work properly….Jabsco has of course never run into this problem before…any help would be appreciated.

They will have the answer

Continuous running or cycling on/off?

Problem may be air getting into supply side.
