Jabsco water pump will not shut off

Check you haven't accidentally bought a 24V pump? I did and had the same problem!

Found a small cut in the supply hose on the pump and cut the hose off square and reattached. Filled water tank and opened all taps to bleed system. Pump ran perfectly for a day, then would not shut off completly.

Have you got the marine equivalent of a closed 'Header Tank' in the system..??
A Bruce Roberts I delivered had this happen.. drove me nuts.. then I discovered this tank tucked away behind a panel and when I bled the air out all worked fine..
Similar to what happens with Instant Hot water/heating systems.. pressure goes down, valve will not open and the gas will not flow..
In your case.. pressure will not build enough to shut the valve.
So many variations on a theme these days.

Thanks all. "stupid quick connect" is the cause". What Jabsco engineer was responsible for this design feature? He/she must not own a boat!
