The motor on my 160E was also ruined with salt water so I just decide to dump the whole thing get a new water maker

It looks like Katadyn used a Leeson gearmotor (motor and gear set).

You may be able to find just a replacement 12v motor about page 292-7 of the catalog, but the catalog doesn't have enough information on dimensions.

The motors aren't cheap.

The only useful part of that watermaker is the gearbox and the rotary drive. Would you be interested in selling that piece for a good price?
