Little Wonder Watermaker, can I increase the capasity ?

The water maker makes about 17lph. Can I add membranes and/or increase flow rate to get a better result optimistically 30lph or more.

Running the brine thru a 2nd membrane will make more water, but not as much as you want. About 25 to 50% more.

Ahhh...NO... you can't get more water out of a system running more membranes in series.

If you add a membrane you HAVE to add it in parallel, and use a bigger pump to double the flow rate at the same pressure.

If you increase the membrane area and the permeate production rate you MUST increase the feed water rate or you will clog the membranes.

Repeat after me: There is no free lunch.
