MarineAir A/C Water Pump Issue

Need help again. we have 2 marineair air compressors that share the same water pump">raw water pump. For some reason only 1 compressor is initiating the water pump. Consequently, we have to make sure the one that is starting the water pump stays on, or the other will not come back on and shows the High Pressure error. We have replaced the AC raw water pump switch, that didn't fix it. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Marineair AC Water pump issue

There should be a relay box that both units and the pump connects to. You probably have a problem in the pump relay. Also check to see that you don't have a bad triac. Chuck

Re: Marineair AC Water pump issue

Thanks for that informative link! Captain just loosened the wire looks similar to a telephone cable, about 1/4" wide and flat that runs from the control pad to the box, unplugged it and plugged it back in. VIOLA!!! turned it on and it worked!!! Apparently the wires were cinched up too tight, and somehow, sometime caused it not to get a good connection at the pad?@!@@! Thank Goodness, no money spent!!!!! Wish all the boat related issued could be solved that easily! Thanks for your replies!!
