Marsh 893-04 Pump Fail - Dometic CU-200 Cold Machine

I installed a CU-200 Cold Machine in January 2018 which came packaged with a March 893-04 12vdc magnetic pump. This evening the pump came to a screeching stop. I went to the Marsh website and learned that this pump has a 2800 hr service life. I figure I put about 6000 hrs on the pump since January, we are liveaboards but have spent a month or so off the boat traveling or ashore since January. At the retail price of ~$275/pump I'm thinking others have wondered if this is the best pump for continuous service. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement magnetic pump for a CU200.

Suggest you look at the TopsFlo 12VDC magnetic drive, brushless, centrifugal pump range. They are rated to 30,000 hours (Not just 2800!), are superior to most similar and at a fraction of the cost.

Use with a suction line non return valve and have the pumps discharge pointed upwards to expend life on all types of centrifugal pumps.
