If you mean diarrhea, then just add a bit more coir. If you’re producing so much that the head can’t handle it, you’re probably going to die, so no problem .

Seriously, just add more coir (or whatever you use for material). If you come to the end of the cycle, start a new pile. No biggie. A standard marine head with a holding tank is likely more at risk of quickly filling, than a composter is at risk of being overwhelmed.

I was thinking of spatter. What a great topic but something we all do. When we don't I guess we died.;-)

Yes, splatter happens. A little TP wipe, or a spritz of water solves the problem. No biggie.

Maybe I don’t understand what you’re asking? Say it clearly. We’re all grown ups here (most of us, anyway ).

Re: My 2 Dollar DIY Composting Head

There are people, likely a bit too harshly potty trained and/or sheltered lives, who are unusually squeamish about bodily fluids.

I have worked as a cleaner in a hotel, orderly / nurse assistant (general dogs' body) in hospitals and eldercare facilities, and been primary caregiver for three crops of kids from birth.

Highly recommended for becoming very matter of fact about such matters

That I understand. What I don't is, how it is handled in a composting loo. The splatter effect.
It's a shitty topic.

Yup … it’s what I said as well. But Cadence seems to be asking something else, or maybe trying to make a point … I can’t figure it out.

You might actually have to do some cleaning. Same as with any toilet. If this is a chronic problem you might want to consider a shop vac with a sphincter attachment.

Separett... One should sit up and not lean forward. Not really a problem.
