Oven door counterbalance

Does anyone have drawings or schematics for an oven door counterbalance system?
When my oven door is closed the cooker leans slightly away from you on the gimbals,
however when the oven door is opened the oven tilts towards you & the contents of the oven tend to slide out onto the open oven door, & on 1 occasion even further onto the floor.
I remember years ago (before the internet) seeing a weighted counterbalance system which screwed into the side of the oven & door & as the oven door opened the linkage moved the weight to the rear keeping the oven level totally independent of the angle of heel on the gimbals
