You could seriously get hurt in a big way quick in this heat. And my boat has much more ventilation than most 40 footers...
Actually opening up the hatches and ports lets in sun, which is a killer.
I'll stay with the A/C thanks, except when anchored out.
Same here. We've always been able to be comfortable on the hook, even in a lot of heat. But, in a marina, we run the AC.

We liked the mermaid air because it uses a standard thermostat, and you can use a timer based model. It also runs 220v EITHER 50 or 60 Hz. Down side: start up draw was large. Installed a good soft start system (from EasyStart) and that fixed it.
