Re: Pressure-operated Bilge switches

I have the Junior on 2 boats. after a few years of OK operation, now both stay on. At first they were staying on about 20-30 sec. I thought that was how they were supposed to work. Now they stay on 20- 30 min & longer!
Toasted the battery in one boat.
The float goes up and down, just never turns off.

Emailed the manufacturer --- he never wrote back.

Took one off the boat already-second won won't be long.

Re: Pressure-operated Bilge switches

Thanks for the reply and shared irritation with Ultra's lack of serious Customer Support.

Have you decided on what brand to buy for replacements? I was interested in the Water Witch because it was touted to be a toss-up with Ultra's units. If not for the accident of spilled chemical melting the body, I'd still be happy with it, but not willing to spend so much money on getting another one. The Water Witch body looks to be made differently so may be a better choice--barring a repeat of the same accident!
