Pur 80 E

I bought a boat that has a Pur 80 E water maker onboard that hasn't been run in at least 8 years.I bought a rebuild kit and new membrane.The membrane tube on my boat is 2.5 inch diameter and the membrane they sent for a 80 E is 1.75 diameter.Does Katadine have different diameter membranes for different size water makers or do I have a bigger water maker then an 80 E?
Any assistance I can get to get the right parts to finish rebuilding it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, the 80e takes two membranes. Same as the 40 x 2. And there ridiculously expensive.

Gord the links you sent are the new 80 E.My water maker is 20 years old and my membrane tube is much shorter and bigger diameter.I am hoping another cruiser will have knowledge of the older units.
