Purasan / Electra Scan ?

We're currently looking to replace our old Lectra San in our aft head. We boat in the Chesapeake, brakish water, so we would need to add salt in the Electra Scan.

I started looking at the Purasan, thinking it may be less problematic, than the Electra Scan.

Does anyone have experience with both systems?

I'd appreciate any words of wisdom as we look at our options.

Thanks much in advance.

Re: Purasan / Electra Scan ?

Had them all now using Envirolet composting units. No muss, no smell, no fuss, no chemicals. My orchids are beautiful in the salon and tomato plants in pots are now in full bloom on the stern with the dried effluent. Envirolet® Composting Toilets - the premium brand that's made in Canada
