Raritan PH superflush leaking dry/flush

I just replaced a jabsco twist and lock with a raritan superflush and when I switch from flush to dry then resume pumping, supply water leaks out the top of the assembly.

As far as I can tell the leak is between part 29 and part 25.

I'm assuming this has something to do with the tightness of part 29. I've tried tight, tried loose. Made sure the spring and ball are in there. Still leaks.

I'm immensely frustrated after a long day of replacing plumbing. Anyone got a magic bullet here before I try tech support tomorrow?

Also the parts I listed may have been wrong. Later in the manual they appear as part 1204B and 1203BW.

You aren't the first person to report this problem...it's causes by a problem with that o-ring. Raritan is aware of it and will replace it. Call Raritan tech support: 800-835-3258.

Indeed Raritan replied to my query (I submitted through their webform) this morning and told me the same thing. Specifically they told me they'd heard of this happening in below waterline installations. (Mine is.)

They're sending me 1203B1 and 1204B. I will attempt to solve by replacing 1203B1 first and then report back to them as this seems something they're working out. I'll post here too as the saga resolves one way or the other so that others who face this will know what to do.

Thanks for the quick reply here too Peg.

Just a followup. I have replaced 1203B1 and it has stopped the leak.
