Shipmate Stove Parts

I have a Shipmate three burner stove with oven that was converted to propane by Richmond Ring Company many years ago and has never been used. I need a couple of new burner control knobs. Does anyone have a source for these parts?

Re: Shipmate Stove Parts

Most of the parts on shipmate propane stoves are available at appliance parts
house. Richmond Ring was primarily a sheetmetal fabricator. They assembled the stoves using using generic “off-the-shelf” burners, controls, regulators, thermostats, etc.

Robert Shaw is the source for most of the gas control parts on the Shipmate.

I am also looking for Shipmate burner. Kerosene pressurised burner base. I have one which is stripped. Burners a readily available but I have never been able to source the base. Anyone have one?

Re: Shipmate Stove Parts

I didn’t know that Shipmate built stoves fired by anything other than propane. Since just about all of the components were, as noted in prior posts, Robertshaw controls etc. I would be surprised to think Richmond Ring would have followed a different approach on kerosene stoves. But then, I’m easily surprised.
Have you explored Kenyon, Primus or Optimus stove parts? Possible something can be adapted- safely, by all means- without too much grief.
