Re: Soba BabyNova 1000 washing machine problem

Hi Folks

Ok, I'm having an issue with out "New to us" washer also. I am running it on the Generator, the machine is running fine, cycling well however, it won't drain water. I have checked that the drains are clean the drain pump appears to be spinning?

Thoughts?

Thank you all

One other question, how long should a P3 cycle take from start to finish?

Re: Soba BabyNova 1000 washing machine problem

Hello,
It's typically a Hertz problem. Babynova 1000 is working with 50Hz. If you have 60Hz, it will not drain water.
This happened to my washing machine in Colombia and also to my neighbor, who had a Candy. Both of us tooked our washing machine apart, before a third guy told us it's a Hertz issue.

Re: Soba BabyNova 1000 washing machine problem

Thanks Roland

Yes, our generator and house batteries/interver are both set to 230v @ 50hz so all good.

I did a full cycle and managed to get it to run through. I did put an additional seal on the external pump housing. I found it leaking from there fairly badly which would also be putting additional air into the system.

I'll see how it goes.
