Spare parts for Spectra Ventura 150

I have a Spectra Ventura 150 that I love! It has been installed for about 10 years. I replaced the membrane 4 or 5 years ago. It still is making great water at about 6 gallons an hour. I am starting to worry about what might fail. What spares do most people carry beyond the obvious spare 5 micron and carbon filters, o-rings and pickling/cleaning compounds? I am thinking I should carry a spare feed pump but that is a $400 investment. You can also buy just the feed pump head but it is almost $300 (I figure for another $100 just replace the whole thing). Do most of you cruising carry a spare feed pump? What other parts do you carry?

A lot depends on your cruising destinations. If you're a coastal cruiser a spares list will be different from a RTW cruiser. The feed pump motors are pretty rugged. It's the pump heads that see the wear and tear. But you're right. At this age a new motor and pump head might be a good idea. Other than that, you seem to already have the essentials. Spares is always a tough decsion on what to take. About the only assurance to have the right spare with you when you need it is to take a complete new watermaker with you.
