Stainless tanks and sound deadening

Any thoughts on applying sound deadening materials, e.g. automotive butyl or alike to stainless tanks to quiet them down? Dynamat or Killmat etc.

My specifics are, I have a stainless water tank under my V-Beth and when it’s about 70-85% full it sloshes around a bit. I’m a fresh water, seasonal boat if that helps. I know stainless needs to breath, oxygen exposure and all that and the thought of applying what amounts a to a giant thick sticker over the tank seems like a bad idea but… it has be wondering. I used his material in my home HVAC lines about my home theater and it did a wonder in deadening the think HVAC trunk lines.

Stainless doesn't need oxygen access if it's completely coated and sealed from moisture.

Does the tank have internal baffles? [it should]
