Re: variable flow water pump

Our boat came with a Sensor-Max pump. It's been reliable, and it's pleasantly quieter than the accumulator system on our previous boat. Example: if you just need a drink of water in the middle of the night you can crack the faucet and after a slight delay the motor "purrs" slowly and quietly - barely audible.

Re: variable flow water pump

I wouldn't have shufflo on a boat,

Ive fitted Sensormaxs to the last three boats I had, great unit, quiet on less then full bore, no troubles. If your going far offshore bring a spare module.

Id never go back to accumulators again

Re: variable flow water pump

hi nick,

thanks for the feedback re the 60psi model....hopcar says the 40-45psi model is what sells best...maybe that's the reason....60psi would use more water too...so maybe i'll scale it back!

thanks again, really appreciate the info re your experience with the bigger model.
