Water damaged material in boat

We just found out that the woods have soaked up a lot of water that made us puzzled. The boat have been on land because of Swedish winter. The winter that have not be so cold! and very little snow.

Can the mild winter cause more condensation within the boat in ”strange” places?
Also the water damage is not spread from the ”above”, it’s like in the ”middle”.
The pictures is from the both sides of the water damage.

When opening up around the damage to find the cause of this effect I found some stuff.

Above the area of water damage there is some kind of ventilation for the water tanks. This is our main suspects of leaking water, but we don’t know for sure. Maybe there is some bigger ”leakage” out of the ventilation when we ”overfill” the water tanks? It was more like condensation on the ”white” area, but remember that the boat have been on land with coverage over the boat.

Boat coverage during winter, this side of boat are more exposed to the sun than the other side.
Winters are not so sunny, but maybe that can be a cause for condensation? Under the covers is the ventilation, so water can not be from the outside.

All ideas are welcome!
