Water Maker Booster Pump

My 1989 Carver 4207 has a water maker that was using a Vantage Marine booster pump that has gone south. Both the motor and pump look to be rusted solid. Anyone know what might be other sources than Vantage marine to buy a replacement motor/pump? It's just a Baldor motor with a pump mounted on the end.

Re: Water Maker Booster Pump

Hi Mike....
To give you a good answer can you tell us the GPM output of your Hp Pump or the GPM rate of the boost pump? Undersizing a boot pump can cause the Hp pump to cavitate and fail....so it's important to match the boost pump flow rate to the Hp pump's demand.
