Water Shut Off Valve - Help?

My water shutoff valve has started leaking. I have two of these, but cannot seem to identify them. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement?

These are installed on my 1998 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 362.

Regards,
Derek

Re: Water Shut Off Valve - Help?

Since your asking here on this issue, I assume you don't have a lot of repair experience. Looks like they are screw on/off fittings, probably not repairable. I'm not sure if they would fit but the "Shark bite" line of fittings and valves are the way to go. Available at most hardware stores, cheap for boat parts, easy to install/ remove, no tools needed (except for small remover available at the store). They're perfect for the occasional DIY'er. Those lines look to be 12MM or 1/2 inch hard to tell with no reference but Shark bites come in 1/2 and 3/4.

Looks like they might be Whale (Home)

Re: Water Shut Off Valve - Help?

I thought they were Whale too, but I cannot seem to locate them online.

I'm going to send Whale a message and see if they still make it.

If not, I will replace with a PVC 1/4 turn Ball Valve and some male-male nipples.

Regards,
DJ

I doesn't look like Whale or Sea Tech to me but I bet Sea Tech would work.

Re: Water Shut Off Valve - Help?

Perhaps some French product...

But maybe Flair-It makes some valves like that, too?
