Watermaker osmosis draw-back

When shutting down your watermaker you get a small amount of
permeate draw-back from from natural osmosis. How do you prevent air from being drawn into the permeate side of the membrane? Do you use
a draw-back tank as Dow suggusts or a check valve in the permeate line.
I built a 40 GPH watermaker and it is GREAT! Do it! After filling my tanks I connect a 1/2" hose to the permeate discharge and rinse the dodger ,
fishing gear , or do laundry on deck directly from the watermaker.
After shutting down , I have had 8' of water in this line drawn back to the membranes. What do you do? Thanks Steve
