Whale Swim n Rinse .

I have a relatively new Whale Swim n Rinse cockpit shower which has a badly leaking handset .
Has anyone managed to reseal the handset . It seems to be a throw-away component which is fine if you are close to a chandler who stocks these units .

There seems no way of stripping it ?
