A bowsprit for Fisher 25 motorsailer?

Greetings everyone!

I am looking for inputs/advice regarding adding a bowsprit to Fisher 25 motorsailer.
Currently, I house the anchor on the deck, lashed to strong points, but I am not comfortable with this idea.

I have roller furler and obviously no front stay.

May be the bowsprit will be ideal to stow the anchor as well as add a front stay wire rigging. May be I can also then be able to fly a chute in light airs.

Wonder what other sailors think about this - pros and cons.

Any recommended yard /wood worker/rigger in Northern Scotland, around stornoway, Ullapool, etc.

thanks.

Ahh the front stay is there inside the furler foil, has to be there to hold the mast up. Also there is nothing stopping you from flying a chute in the current format.

An anchor platform has merit, but so does a simple bow roller.

As far as not having a forestay, you’ve already got one, it’s in the furler! And there’s nothing stopping you from flying a chute now either. Just tack it to the bow and away you go!
