Advice

One of my crew who is interested in buying his first boat, asked me a couple of questions that I had no answers for . I told him that someone at CF would definitely know.
How sturdy and/or dependable are the FACNOR In-Mast furling systems in heavy-wind blue water conditions?
How sturdy are the un-stayed Freedom-type boats in heavy-wind blue water conditions?

Cheers

Re: Advice

I'm aware of at least one Freedom 30 that was purchased in Bristol RI and sailed to France, singlehanded. Don't know what sort of weather he had, but if you're worried about the spars, reef.
