Amsteel Blue Special

Think I got a decent deal at Go2Marine.com ... not sure if this is a Memorial Day sale or what but if you need an amount like this, the savings are considerable

That's a great price! What are you going to do with it all?

Re: Amsteel Blue Special

I've bought a few things from Go2Marine over the years and found them a good company to deal with and occasionally some great bargains.

I am replacing my running backstays. The current Amsteel Blue backstays were put on in 2005 and even though they did great during our recent passage, after 16 years it’s definitely time for replacement

They aren’t runners like cutters have as they go up all the way to the masthead. We have no fixed backstays and while these are mainly for sail trim, they do support the mast in heavy weather. Our spreaders are swept back 30 degrees so our capshrouds are the backstays.
