Angst Update: In-Boom Reefing

I inspected my fore and aft end of the boom this weekend and found a twisted block for the first reef at the boom's end. While under sail, we double reefed our main with an approaching frontal passage but did not shake the reef after returning to port. The saga continues. More to follow. Thanks everyone for the input.
