Re: Any recommendations on 6 foot plus swim ladders?

We have a folding wooden ladder similar to the one in the first picture that my uncle had in storage for ages. I just need to put the curvatures on the sides and figure a way to mount it to our toe rail. The other two pictures were from a guy that built it homemade on Sailing Anarchy. It's an idea if you didn't want to go with metal.. Attachment 187288Click image for larger version

Nice wood ladder! Hardwood is heavy but easier for most people to fabricate. Sure looks pretty.

Btw as I mentioned earlier, I like to design my ladder angled out about 10 degrees. It makes using it more comfortable and also most small boats heel a bit when climbing up.

Never had an issue with this...

I have had people have an issue getting their foot in the first step of an enclosed ladder.

I will be purchasing a bulwark mounted ladder from them once I get back to my boat to take measurements. They show you what measurements they need and how to arrive at them on their website.

I知 wanting to buy one of their ladders but others had had trouble with the company.

I知 wondering how you made out. Did you get your ladder?
