I’m not interested in comments on catamaran vs monohull stability. I’ve worked for companies which have built both. So far, I’ve found UpSideUp which costs over 3,000 Euros. Also have seen a device on a cat by a French Captain in the thread Another Stability Question but all I can see in the video is the label ACS.
I found a Pfeiffer adjustable tension cam cleat but maybe they are no longer for sale. Maybe there are similar devices or designs . Anyone?
Lastly, my wife and I were once young and thin and did a lot of serious alpine climbing and some rock climbing as well. I found a review of what rock climbers call “screamers” In Rockclimbing.com. They are available commercially and I’m sure, sailors here could benefit from them as a safety device for mast work and I’m thinking they could be strengthened for other applications.
