Best way to insert thimble in midpoint of Dyneema 12-strand?

I would like to use 7/16" Amsteel for a 4-point lifting harness. My thought is to construct it out of two lines with spliced thimbles at each end, and a spliced thimble in the mid-point of each line.

There is no shortage of info about how to splice a thimble at the end of a line, using a Brummel and 72x tapered bury. But I haven't found any sources about splicing in a thimble at the midpoint. Would it be enough to just use a Brummel crossover of each leg and no bury?

I have also considered cutting the rope into 4 lines instead of 2, splice thimbles into all the ends, but that would require more splices, more thimbles, and more shackles.

Constructive feedback or alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

Rather like this, with a thimble in the eye? Sure. This is a sheet, but I've also done the similar concept with the eye holding a block and around/through low friction rings. As long as you size the Amsteel for the load and beyond, you should be fine

Why use thimbles at all? Dyneema is pretty chafe resistant. Use an alpine butterfly knot for the middle loop.
