Bewley No. 2L winch.
Cannot find find any reference to this company searching the internet.

It is a small winch. Single speed. The unique thing is the winch handle fitting is much smaller than typical winch--say Lewmar. Same pattern but .3 percent smaller.

Any ideas?

AFAIK, Dick Bewley had a machine tool shop in Fairfield CT and turned out a few small winches in the 1960's or 70's. I think we had a pair on an H-28 we sailed. His boat was Kiva, a Concordia yawl.
