Bringing my Megaquilter onboard

Afternoon and Merry Christmas!
I am planning to bring my Husqvarna Megaquilter on board and curious if anyone else has experience with this machine? The sunbrella is not a problem, it is the Sails that I have not delved into with this machine.
-Also, my Genoa has been restitched by someone (we purchased our Cat 2 months ago) at least 3 times from reviewing the sail. Suggestions on more repair or just replace at this point? I am leaning toward replace as we are heading to the Bahamas and then Carribbean.
Have an amazing Day!

1600 stitches per minute isn't going to help when you need to sew really heavy stuff like the corners of a sail.
For that, you need a machine that's slow, but has a ton of torque.

If you can find one in good condition, a Viking Husqvarna like this one is better suited for sewing sails as it has a high/low gear capability.
The machine in this link also has needle up/down capability, a real plus when turning corners.
BTW, I service machines for a living and although this machine is not mine, my wife used to have one exactly like it.

Thanks! This was one of the concerns, the machine is great for sunbrella work but I would like one for all around purpose. I'm also looking at a sailrite.
