broken spar

i cannot find a spar section or even the right style mast its 8 inch by 10 inch rectangular with rounded corners track is half inch deep 1 inch wide is on a 45 ft fantail cutter can anyone help me the mast broke above spreaders need like 15 ft to get to mast head

First question, what country are you in? The forum is global so recommendations would depend on your location.

Would also help track down possibilities if you could give us the year and builder of the boat if you know it.

If you are in the USA have you tried Rig Rite Spars Main Page ?

They deal with a lot of different mast styles.

I think your best option would be to sleeve the broken section onto the base. Assuming the top piece is in reasonably good condition.

local salvage yard here, Dons Salvage has a pretty large mast selection. I got lucky and found just what I needed to repair mine. Its in largo florida, If you sent a profile to their mast guy Im sure he would check for you.
