bronze thimble source?

Hello,

I need to replace three bronze thimbles on a rotating rig. They are 74mm on their longest dimension.

The only sources I see are in Australia - Does anyone have a US source?

Why not stainless steel, like the shackle they're connected to?

Hi Shrew - I believe it is designed as a sort of sacrificial link. Meaning that since we are stuck with a metal to metal connection, make part of the connection a bit softer so you can predict failure.

In this case, the rig has been up for 6 years, the thimbles are worn about halfway through and one is cracked. But the Dyneema Dux has been well protected. So now, I'd like to replace them....
