Catamaran code zero on a mono hull?

Have got a west sail 42in Seattle area. Light sailing territory. Looking at a code zero made for an Antares 44.

Rigging dimensions are damn near perfect, but I’m wondering if a cat sail is cut with more power than a mono hull code zero?

It’s a new sail that appears to have lost its buyer or had a measurement error. Could possibly pick it up under half price so, so it’s in consideration.

The Antares is not a light cat, not that much faster in normal conditions than the same size mono. I doubt there is any material difference. Mains sails are quite different (no heel) and jibs are somewhat different (no backstay).

I just got a code 0 for a cat. Not sure that was the consideration. Ask the sailmaker. The Anteres sailing polars aren't really much different than a monohull.
