Chain Plates
I am new to my old sail boat and new to sailing.
I believe I have some water leakage from one of my chain plates so I want to reseal behind each. Is there a process to use when loosening up the plates? Should I loosen up one of the turnbuckles on the opposite side a bit and then changes sides a few times until the turnbuckle is loose enough to take the tension off the stay? Seal and repeat?
