Chrome Barlow & Lewmar Winches?

Hi everyone,

I have these great looking older Barlow and Lewmar winches from my dads previous projects and now I'm looking to sell them but can't find any information on them. I was hoping some one out there could set me on the right heading with this dilemma. I have two Lewmar 8 winches and two Barlow 16 winches (one has 422 on the bottom and the other has 421) and the last winch is a Barlow 15. All of them are chrome over brass. I will be posting the pictures on my profile site. Any information would be helpful.

Barlow is not made anymore but you can find spare parts for them from a company in Australia (ARCO). Lewmars are still being made but their sizing is just a bit different in the later winches. If you do an internet search you should be able to find some sites that can give you an idea of market value. The eBay site will get you some ideas. Just go to eBay motors and type in Barlow winch or Lewmar winch and you should find some for sale.
