I believe you will find lots of discussion from last year if you search this forum.

I had Far East Sails build a new main and mizzen last year. Made a huge difference on my boat compared to the old saggy sails.

Pro: Cost 1/2 as much for same sails from a stateside sailmaker. Cost less then used sails classified in good to excellent condition, and no alterations needed on used sails.

Con: You own every measurement. I measured and checked multiple times. Real nail biter first time we hoisted the sails. Perfect fit. Too bad I was not as careful with the sail covers. My minor math error resulted in tight fitting sail covers. Sail covers work, but I had intended for a little more circumference.

Pro: Excellent customer service.

Con: Took about 2 months from first contact until sails arrived.
