Fixing Aluminum Sailtrack to Fiberglass ....

I am thinking of fixing some powder coated aluminum sail track over my windows to fit canvas covers keeping the rain out.
I hate drilling holes in my boat so I thought if I glue it with Sikaflex 291 that should do the trick. Somebody told me to use epoxy glue. That sounds a bit very permanent to me but is he right?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Reiner

Sikaflex 292 has better properties as adhesive than Sikaflex 291. I'd suggest 292 instead of 291.

It is very hot and humid here in Queensland right now and you can't sleep with the windows shut. But this time in the year it rains a lot too so I thought if we had awnings over the windows we can leave them open.
