Harken Cruising 2 Furler Failure - Unfurled!

So we were out cruising the other day in about 30kts of apparent, 2nd reef on the genoa when all of a sudden, the roller furler cut loose and the entire genoa came rolling out. The furling line was not the culprit - it did not come loose of the jammer or the winch. It seems there is some sort of ratchet mechanism? in the furling unit that gave way. Any ideas on how I would go about diagnosing and fixing this problem?

I assembled and installed one of their ESP units on my staysail Tuesday.

ARGH! The forum just ate my 2 previous posts, so I'm a bit frustrated. Fixed the problem, was broken flanges on the furling drum.
