Hasselfors backstay adjuster.

I haven't been able to find a manual or disassembly guide for my Hasselfors backstay adjuster.

Anyone have any idea about maintenance for these?

The two questions are:
Does the set screw on the front face lock the top ring, or is it a screw that is temporarily removed to allow a grease nipple to be attached and the internals lubricated.

Does the ring surrounding the winch socket unscrew using circlip pliers to allow access, presumably to a set of gears inside?

Never used one, but I met a guy in Michigan that told me he cranked so hard on his the hull split

The internals would be mechanically similar, beveled gears and a threaded rod but my old Hasselfors doesn't have the split gearbox case that the modern Selden's have. The whole assembly is made of high quality Swedish stainless steel, something of a rarity these days...
