Help needed Dean Aero 440 Rigging

Anybody with a dean 440 aero or knowledge of their running rigging?

Is Peter Dean still a forum member?

When I purchased the boat the mast had been removed, now re stepped and need some help with the running rigging.

1. What lines run back to the cockpit
2. From what I can tell both ends of the main sheet run to cockpit - what are the pros and cons? I can set up with either 1 or both ends. Both configurations will be 4:1. If I run both ends I loose a jam cleat.
3. There was a pulley shackled inside the leading edge of the boom - any idea of use ? (This is in addition to the pulleys top and bottom inside the boom used for reefing lines and out hail. Can only imagine used for 2:1 on outhaul but is there a need for? Pulley is small one in pics. Doesn’t match rest of rigging everything else in antal so could be addition from previous owner
4. I have a line that got cut (12mm) with a pulley on it about 50mm aluminum construction bolted together matches Sparcraft fittings on boom and mast (not name branded) any idea on use?

Can send more pics if needed. Thanks.

Re: Help needed Dean Aero 440 Rigging

To provide useful responses we need pictures of the mast/partners area and the setup in the cockpit where the lines might lead. The "leading edge of the boom"? Is that the gooseneck? A photo showing what you mean would be useful. The two photos included so far could be anything.
