hyde sails stack away system

I am replacing my main with trepidation going to full batten. I have used Harken lazy jack for years but considering going to the hyde stack pack since the local Philippine sail maker is a hyde affiliate. I have not been able to determine from the tech if the system is easily adjustable as to tension. I can only see on the internet ad that it can be pulled away for racing. I just want to, a) use as an additional topping lift and b) take off tension sailing so the main is not chafed. Does anyone have experience with this system?

Why dont you speak to Hyde sails in Cebu (Lapu Lapu) directly . Very helpful guys, and if your boat is somewhere near by they will come to measure the whole lot and fit it on your boat.
For me the stack away from them works perfectly, workmanship is also good and price was fair.

Re: hyde sails stack away system

To take the tension off you just need the lazy jacks to be adjustable.

To use as a topping lift it needs to be strong enough. If you ask them they should be able to email their designer back in the UK as ask if its okay to use as a topping lift or if it needs extra reinforcing.
