Instructions for covered dyneema loops

Hi all,
If anyone's interested, I've posted directions for making covered dyneema loops on my website. This was a jealously guarded secret for many years, but now that I've run across a YouTube video about it or two, I guess the cat's out of the bag.
It's the first option in the "Splicing Instructions" drop-down menu, in case the link doesn't work.
Comments, thoughts appreciated.

Thanks. Will take a look as I'll need a few of these soon.

So you don’t put any whippings on the core splice? The long bury is enough?

Seems to be; some put a wrap of tape on the crossover to keep it from loosening while it's being built, but I've made hundreds of them with no tape or whipping at all on the core and none has failed yet.

Re: Instructions for covered dyneema loops

For those interested, I've added two alternate methods of closing the loop covers; just scroll to the end of the instructions in the link above to see them. Each method has its merits: one is quickest and easiest, which I use when making large loop batches; the second is smoother, and leaves no tape anywhere in the product; the third has the smoothest crossover, but that has to be whipped anyway, so I never really use it. Still, there it is....
