Another thank you for the referral to Hanging High Hammocks. Just got a couple of their soft shackles. While I do not think I will use them for controlling my sheets, they are impeccably made. I hope you can persuade him to start making for the sailing market.


I am teaching my first class on dyneema splicing and creating soft shackles and intend to use one of these as a great example for my students.

Here is my current work on the Brion Toss Button Knot for use in teaching my lessons on Soft Shackles and UHMWPE lines.
