Kenyon Boom internal parts replacement

Has anyone ever replaced the parts on a Kenyon boom with outhaul and reefing lines? I have a 1984 Islander Bahama with a Kenyon boom. The boom has 2 internal reefing lines and an outhaul. The sheaves run pretty well and based on pictures I’ve seen I don’t think they’re original (good). The control lines running through the boom are really deteriorated and I’m set on replacing them - outhaul line and reefing line 1 and 2. I found a blog where a guy worked on his boom and he described the interior as being fairly complex and so he didn’t make any changes. I would like to at least access the internal blocks to check on them to check on the wear, and as I said, to replace all the rigging that passes through the boom. Any advice appreciated, and a diagram of what’s going on inside would be very helpful.

To get an idea go to "Rig Rite", Search "Kenyon boom" there will be many models and variations, however there will also be cross section diagrams of each with dimensions.
Hopefully you will be able to match with your boom. And then they will have each component with a visual. Should give you a idea of what is inside.
They will also have a list of what boats each model was installed on, however it is far from complete hence my suggestion above. Luck!
