would be good to check em all and to rebed them--and to change out any that look nasty.. for safety reasons if none other....

Here is a pic with mast slid to bow. We removed and resealed these bolts glass and core is fine

Try directing the stream from the hose to the base of the mast. Try it from all sides, holding it at each location for several minutes. That should test it quite well.

Did it look like the bolts were leaking? Are there only the 2 bolts shown in the picture or are there more at the front of the plate?

There are four bolts two had a slight amount of rust around them that was not there previously. We removed them and checked the plate and beneath it scraped away what appeared to be old silicone and sealed everything with sikaflex
Tried the hose test and no leaks but we will see
