Lewmar 43 NST (1973) winch question

Does anyone know what the gear ratios are for each speed of our old winches. Am considering replacement with new ST Lewmar winches (getting old - me, not the winches!) and I want to make the right choice. Part of a rebuild of our 1973 Pearson 36 Secret.

this isn't rocket science!

Make some sort of mark on the winch drum and another on the deck or base or whatever the winch is sitting on. Align the marks. Turn the winch handle counting turns until the marks align themselves again. That is the gear ratio.
Repeat in the other direction. That is the other gear ratio.

All done.
