Mariner roller furler

I was wondering if anyone has an old Mariner furler sitting around gathering dust in the garage that they would like to sell me, this is the kind that uses hank on sails.

Steve,

I have the set up that was shown in that link. I had intended to install it on my first boat, but bought a bigger boat with furling before I got to it. I found the furling gear on eBay and won it for $217.00 US dollars delivered, as I recall. I am going to eBay it myself this spring, I think.

Have you tried eBay? There's another site worth looking at for used stuff - www.searchtempest.com - it searches all of craigslist and eBay for you. I use it often. On eBay, I would try being specific in your search first and, if that doesn't turn up anything, just search roller furling and scan through it all.

Best of luck in finding the Mariner gear.

Dan

Re: Mariner roller furler

Hi Dan, I search ebay and allofcraigs on a regular basis and im sure one will show up sooner or later. I used to have a mariner unit which I actually bought on ebay for about $120 if I remember right. I was going to install it on my Mac 36 cat but the boat burned before I got to it, so I traded it to a friend for some vw parts for my Westy. I now have a Gemini 3000 and would like to install one on it so ive tried to buy it back but no go.
